About Design Carreer and FAU

Last year, Design carreer has changed, all classes, subjects, names and  some teachers. Even though the carreer's boss said that would be better, nobody knows exactly if it helps us or not.

Nobody has graduated yet to know what is it to come out with another degree as a designer.
Another deal is the fact that less subjects require a lot more time than more subjects needed before, and people these days feel so tired of coming to university, sleepy, plus heat is making it way worse,
Santiago is recently taking so much temperature that makes everything uncomfortable.
Semestral subjects make everything so compressed that contents of classes and projects
tend to be breathtaking, losing even time of your daily life, or missing some subjects to finish
some other teachers' work.

FAU has other problems since decades, its buildings structures, for example, about a month or two ago, the ceilings started to fall and break, causing some holes in it and a lot of debris fell to the ground. It took like 2 or 3 weeks for removing the debris, and until today, it hasn't been repared. Bathrooms are terrible, the cafetery looks old and poor, and its food is limited and expensive.

On the other side, subjects by themselves, had came with some problems, by promising that we were get a graphic teacher, but instead they couldn't find one, and gave us an industrial one, making us do some things that we didnt expected anymore, I was literally so disappointed of it. There are subjects too, that makes us work so much for like, 3 heckin' credits, it just feel so dumb.

About the use of technology, it has been good for some students, but there's people like me that has been through two incompetent teachers of computational tools, their teaching methods haven't been the best, and I have lost the oportunity to learn some cool 3Ds programs and 3Ds modeling sessions.

FAU has a lot of problems that NEED to be changed, even though they will start new exciting projects of infrastructure, they should have made or at least started several years ago.
